Our Story

Called to Love started after Katie was divorced after 10 years in an abusive marriage and wanted to give back the love and support she had received from individuals in the church.  She attributes her healing to the prayer practices and sacraments of the Catholic Church, and wanted to share that gift with others. Michael was a fallen away Catholic recently back in full communion with the Church, after 2 divorces and attending confession when Katie invited him to speak to her group after reading his blog on the Gift of Self. Both Katie and Michael profess that following Jesus and spending daily time in prayer are the ways to the healing transformation possible after divorce as well as what will enable a life lived with joy and peace, prepare you to know if God is calling you to marriage and if so, how to find the MUCH MORE - satisfying, fulfilling and rewarding relationship.
Michael and Katie are both divorced, annulled and remarried in the Catholic Church. They are blending a family with 6 kids, 3 of which are young adult children. Love is possible. God wants you to know this. All you yearn for, He wants to give You. He loves You. He is the happiness you Seek. He is extravagant and faithful. Never stop believing in Love.
